Daniel Algieri earned his JD from Rutgers School of Law - Newark and holds a degree in psychology from Syracuse University. Daniel represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. His practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, transportation matters, premises liability and personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining Brooks & Berne, Daniel represented both national and international insurance carriers against claims made by insureds following natural disasters and/or catastrophic losses. In addition, for the last ten years Daniel has defended sponsors, developers, general contractors, subcontractors, and construction professionals against claims of construction defect and professional liability. Daniel also assisted his clients to navigate OSHA regulations and resolve any alleged violations of OSHA-promulgated rules and regulations.
Further, as a senior associate at an internationally-recognized firm, Daniel gained a wealth of knowledge and experience related to the efficient resolution of both first and third-party insurance coverage disputes; often via mediation or binding arbitration.
