BIOGRAPHY
Amera Hamed is a dedicated and detail-oriented attorney admitted to practice in New Jersey. She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark, where she participated in Trial Advocacy, Deposition Advocacy, and Alternate Dispute Resolutions. Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science and Sociology from Rutgers University-New Brunswick.
Before joining Brooks and Berne, Amera served as a Law Clerk at the Middlesex Superior Court, where she conducted legal research, drafted judicial opinions, and facilitated mediations.
Amera worked with the Rutgers International Human Rights Clinic, contributing to an Amicus Brief for the United States Supreme Court and advocating for individuals facing human rights violations.
Amera brings a strong commitment to client advocacy, legal research, and case strategy development. Her background in litigation, mediation, and legal analysis allows her to effectively support clients in navigating complex legal matters.
She is fluent in Arabic and English and is passionate about community service, having volunteered for various initiatives, including food drives, fundraising for disaster relief, and mentoring through local organizations.
