Andrea Cos Mora is an associate in the New York Office of Brooks & Berne, PLLC. She represents established businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. Her practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general liability, automobile liability, premises liability and personal injury litigation.

Prior to joining Brooks & Berne, Ms. Cos Mora was an associate for a boutique civil defense litigation firm in Dallas, Texas. Her practice centered on defending corporations in automobile liability, general liability, and premises liability matters. Additionally, Ms. Cos Mora has served as a legal clerk for Chief Justice Erin Nowell at the Fifth District Court of Appeals. During her time at the Fifth District Court of Appeals, she gained ample experience conducting legal research and writing on a wide array of legal matters.

Ms. Cos Mora earned her JD from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, Texas, and she holds a degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. During her time as a law student at SMU, Ms. Cos Mora dedicated her time to pro-bono work as a clinic chief for the SMU Child Advocacy Clinic, a legal extern for the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, and a helpline staffer for the SMU COVID-19 Legal Helpline. Ms. Cos Mora is fluent in Spanish, is deeply committed to public service, and is dedicated to approaching her work with compassion, rigor and integrity.
