William Grae 

Partner 

William Grae is a Partner in the New York offices of Brooks & Berne. William is an established trial and appellate attorney with more than 30 years of experience defending high-exposure casualty liability and construction-related claims in New York and New Jersey. His practice focuses on complex personal injury matters, including catastrophic injury, premises liability, labor law, product liability, and multi-party construction litigation. 

 

Prior to joining Brooks & Berne, William held roles as counsel, and partner across several litigation practices, managing high-volume and high-stakes dockets. His experience includes representing insurers, self-insured entities, developers, contractors, and businesses in state and federal courts, with a record of defense verdicts and appellate advocacy. His background also consists of representing both defendants and plaintiffs, providing a well-rounded perspective on litigation strategy.

 

William earned his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Cornell University.
