Jillian Kerr earned her Juris Doctor from Penn State Law in State College, Pennsylvania, where she also earned concentrations in Corporate Law and Practice; Arbitration, Mediation, and Negotiation; and Intellectual Property. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The Pennsylvania State University. 

 

Jillian specializes in alternative dispute resolution and was an accomplished member of Penn State Law’s Alternative Dispute Resolution program. She also was an Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member on Penn State’s Arbitration Law Review. Further, she worked in Penn State Law’s Entrepreneur Assistance Clinic to help new business owners form their business entities, draft contracts, understand the legal requirements needed for compliance with Pennsylvania law, and other business matters pertaining to insurance and liability. 

 

Jillian has experience in analyzing and managing risk through her previous work experience as a Business Affairs intern at the Walt Disney Company. She also was top competitor in the American Bar Association MAC Cup II, a mergers and acquisition negotiation competition, where she drafted several high scoring asset purchase agreements that dealt with risk analysis and liability shifting.

 

She brings her dedication to the law, compassion, and strong attention to detail to her work. Jillian works on the Insurance Defense team in the New York office and is currently seeking admission to the New York Bar.
